Statement of Doctrine

Verbal inspiration of the accepted Canon of the Sacred Scriptures as originally given. (II Timothy 3:16).

Oneness of the Godhead or triune manifestation of God in the Person of Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16).

The creation, test and fall of man, as recorded in Genesis: his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness. (Romans 5:12).

The Saviour of men, the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. (I Timothy 2:5).

The Gospel of the Grace of God, how that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. (I Corinthians 15:3-4).

The salvation of sinners by grace alone, through faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary, by which we secure remission of sins. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 2:11-14).

The bodily ascension of Jesus to Heaven. His enthronement and His personal coming for His church (Acts 1:9-11). Also pre-millenial coming for the Church, before the Great Tribulation (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Romans 5:9). Also His Millenial reign of 1,000 years on earth (Revelation 20:1-7).

Water baptism of believers by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19; fulfilled in Acts 2:37-39).

The Baptism with the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to Salvation, with the spiritual evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4).

The Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world, and the perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith. (II Corinthians 6:14-18). Chastisement follows disobedience, and loss of rewards, not a loss of salvation. (Hebrews 12:5-11; I Corinthians 3:15).

The Gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in (I Corinthians 12:14), being exercised and practised as manifest in the early Church.

The healing of the body by Divine Power, through the atonement in it’s many aspects as practised by the early Church. (Isaiah 53:4-6; Matthew 8:17; I Peter 2:24; James 5:14).

The Lord’s Memorial, commonly called the Supper for Believers. (I Corinthians II).

The Eternal Life for the believer and the Eternal punishment of the unbeliever in the Lake of Fire. (John 5:24; John 10:27-29; Matthew 25:41-46; Daniel 12:2; Revelation 20:14-15).

The reality and personality of Satan. (I Peter 5:8).

The manifestation of the Sons of God and glorification of the body at the translation of the church and not anytime before. (Romans 8:19-23; I John 3:1-3).
